Conclusion
Phillip Island resort conducts this report in terms of the benefits of helping teams organize, track,
and execute work within a project. Think of a project as a collection of tasks to accomplish a
specifc goal. Project management is a way to help your team track all of the work being done
in order to meet a project’s requirements on time. But within the broad category of project
management, there are additional types, methodologies, and approaches, including Agile
project management, Waterfall model, etc. The project aims to grow clear, organized plans
and improve team collaboration, defning everyone’s roles and eliminating confusion, creating
well-defned goals to improve team effectiveness, defning communication plan to keep
teamwork aligned and focused, and playing as an important management tool in order to
increase the business efciency.
In a Gantt chart, tasks are represented as horizontal bars, where the length of the bar
represents how long the task is going to take.
With support from the management team, you can get a clear picture of your team’s work and
capacity to ensure no one is burning out or getting bored. That way, you can spot potential
overwork and adjust tasks if needed.
Monitoring the beneft measures and comparing them with the expected benefts identifed at
the start of the project will provide a good indication of a project’s performance.
This performance evaluation can be a useful guide in determining what course of action
should be taken in relation to the project.
Based on the report shown above, Phillip Island resort has identifed three essential key
factors in project management
1. Clear communication to everyone – Whether it is in the planning phase or at the outset
of your project, make sure everyone knows who the project leader is as well as the
responsibilities of other individuals and departments involved.
2. Check in with and answer questions for task owners – Help the stakeholders stay on
track by checking in on how their work is progressing or help them get access to
anything they need to unblock work.
3. Regularly share status updates – Keep the momentum going by sharing updates with
the team on project progress. Not only will this keep everyone up to date and reduce
status update questions, but it will encourage and motivate your stakeholders.
The renovation project is a visual way to gain clarity and connect with your team.
The benefts of the management process certainly offer a structured approach to
managing the benefts of a project, but this does not mean that this is a
mechanistic activity; it is proactive and considers changes.
By following the correct procedures as planned and stated in the operational plan the
company believes that our teams will beneft from adopting the new project and work
management basics. Even a few simple changes to how you plan, manage, and report on
your work can make your team more efcient, accountable to their work, and confdent that
they’re tackling the things that matter most.
