Today, every organization is looking out for new software that will allow them to improve on their operational efficiency and will also help them overcome issues at the workplace. In addition, they also want to improve the productivity levels of the staff, which will ensure of completing the given tasks on time and also as per the expectations of the top-level management amid the given work environment.

This report will be discussing the case of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution – management software that is often used by companies like Amazon. It helps them manage their day-to-day activities. In addition, it helps them manage their supply chain functions and on the other hand will allow the employees to have better communication and work coordination in a given working environment (Chauhan & Singh, 2017).

Furthermore, it is observed that there are several benefits of this software platform as it allows the organization to streamline their business processes, reduce the operational time and finally also make sure of overcoming the workplace issues (Chauhan & Singh, 2017). It should be noted that this software allows the organization to improve on their business communications and thereby ensure performing of day-to-day operations in a better way.

Furthermore, it will help the company to carry out planning, control, coordination, and decision making in a better way. The organization will be able to manage on their operational issues from different perspectives and thus serve their customers in a better way (Hatipoğlu, 2017).

In addition, it allows companies to improve their online presence and thus increase their customer engagement levels (Ranjan, Jha, & Pal, 2017). The marketing team will this be able to determine the performance of different strategies implemented in this direction and thereby take steps for improving the future performance.

ERP platforms also allow the organization to safeguard their data from the threats in the external environment. However, the IT department will need to monitor such practices in the organization. Second, they will need to even assist other departments regarding record-keeping and auditing.

The marketing department at Amazon will be able to perform better since they will be able to carry out needs analysis and accordingly prepare their new promotion plan with the help of this platform. This software module also comprises of Customer Relationship Management, which will allow the companies to interact with customers in a better way (Ranjan, Jha, & Pal, 2017).

The company will thus be able to determine whether they are working in the right direction or not. They can thus modify their existing strategies and subsequently improve their performance. It will even allow them to optimize their supply chain, improve on inventory management, and even focus more on logistics performance (Ranjan, Jha, & Pal, 2017).

Amazon will thus be able to overcome market competition, follow the operating norms from the legal perspective, and finally achieve desired goals amid the given environment. The top-level management will be in a better position to take decisions, which will ensure that they will be able to overcome operational challenges and instead optimize the performance of the staff with the help of given ERP software modules.
