Curtailing Social Loafing
Read the following article:
First, have students read “Extrinsic and Intrinsic Origins of Perceived Social Loafing in Organizations,” Academy of Management Journal 3 (1992), pp. 191–202.
Design a plan of action to prevent and discourage social loafing. Refer to XX as an example the chapter section on social loafing before beginning the design of your plan. The plan should identify the problem in the example, the potential for problems, corrective action, a time frame, and an assessment measure.
