This paper aims to represent sources of a regulatory framework, accounting and corporate concepts, principles and theories, the impact of the accounting framework in business organization in General and Sembcorp Industries Ltd, assessment of areas of abuse and exploitation in accounting and financial reporting, assessment of the importance of accounting concepts, principles, and theories of Sembcorp Industries, and interpretation and assessment of published accounting information of  Sembcorp Industries.

Sembcorp Industries engages in the production and supply of utility services, terminalling, and storage of petroleum products and chemicals (Sembcorp Industries, 2023). It is a listed company on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
