Business Report
Due 5pm Thursday 26/04/18.
Value: 30% Summary Prepare a Business Report in MS word about either
(1) Bendigo and Adelaide Bank http://www.bendigoadelaide.com.au OR
(2) The Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company https://www.sanitarium.com.au/
Word Limit 2500 words +/- 10% excluding report title page, table of contents, reference list and appendices.
Submit in the A1.3 drop-box in the MMM132 Cloud site.

Value 40% of final grade. This is not a hurdle assessment. and Requirements for this assessment.
Scenario: Assume you have applied for a graduate job at either:
1. Bendigo and Adelaide Bank http://www.bendigoadelaide.com.au OR
2. The Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company https://www.sanitarium.com.au/
As part of the job selection process you must complete the following three-part assessment A1.1 (compulsory), A1.2 and A1.3. Part A1.2 Pre-Report Preparation Tasks – Due 5pm Thursday 29/03/18
First choose either Bendigo and Adelaide Bank or The Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Co.
Task 1: Provide a Table of Contents (TOC) showing the sections and sub-section headings you plan to use in your A1.3 Business Report. Remember this report must be about either 1. Bendigo and Adelaide Bank OR 2. The Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company.
Task 2: Write a 500 word (+/- 10%) academic discussion on your chosen organisations general environment and analyse the impact of one real-life dimension in its general environment in 2017/18. Begin your research by reading pp. 3241 of the textbook.
In this answer you must also include:
a citation from the textbook
a citation from a suitable peer reviewed management academic journal article
a direct quotation using Deakin Harvard referencing style
an indirect (paraphrased) quotation using Deakin Harvard referencing style
a Deakin Harvard reference list of the sources used in this task
Task 3: Provide another Deakin Harvard reference list that includes the following:
the MMM132 textbook
four or more peer reviewed academic journal articles relevant to answering tasks 1-4 in the forthcoming A1.3 Business Report.
at least one reputable (non-academic) source of information about your organisation. Part A1.3 Business Report – Due 5pm Thursday 26/04/18
Refer to the Scenario on page 2. Write a business report that addresses the following four tasks in relation to your chosen organisation.
Task 1: Identify the purpose of your chosen organisation, its mission in 2017/8, and its profit/not-for-profit orientation. Begin this by reading p.4, p.13 and p. 93 and Table 4.1 in the textbook. Remember to cite the text and at least one peer reviewed academic journal. (200 words).
Task 2: Discuss your chosen organisations specific environment and analyse the impact of one real-life dimension in its specific environment in 2017/8. Begin this by reading pp. 3241 of the textbook. Remember to cite the text and at least one peer reviewed academic journal. (600 words).
Task 3: Discuss your chosen organisations ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Begin this by reading pp. 5259 of the textbook. Remember to cite the text and at least one peer reviewed academic journal. (600 words).
Task 4: Discuss your chosen organisations culture. Also complete and report on your results in the personal insights quiz Whats the Right Organisational Culture for Me? (Robbins et al. 2016, p. 46) and evaluate your results from this quiz and reflect on how well you think you might fit into this organisations culture. Begin by reading pp. 42-44 and 46-47 of the textbook. Remember to cite the text and at least one peer reviewed academic journal. (600 words).
Report Format instructions
This report must include a Report Title page, Executive Summary, Table of Contents, Introduction, Body in which the four tasks are completed, a Conclusion and References. For each task, provide one section in the body of your report. (See Report Format below and in the Cloud site).
