• Write a brief introduction and a brief conclusion for the whole assignment, covering both Parts. • Include a single reference list to cover both parts of the assessment. • The Key Understandings of the First Steps in Mathematics (Western Australian Department of Education and Training [WADET], 2004), and the content descriptions of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority [ACARA], n. d.) can be used to situate the mathematics. First Steps in Mathematics provides many good teaching activities relating to fractions. If discussing activities such as games and videos from FSiM, Scootle or other sources, a screenshot should be included as an image within the assessment text (not as an appendix) and cited correctly.
