You will need to provide a bibliography using the Harvard referencingsystem (or an alternative system). Inaccurate use of referencing may lead to issues of plagiarism if not applied correctly.

This report must be about your own personality, your own perceptions and your understanding of how individual difference informs and influences management approaches. In addition, the report also includes your understanding of applying content and process theories of motivation to create and maintain effective workforce. Word count in 2000 words +/- 10%, although you will not be penalised for exceeding the total word limit.

Vocational scenario for Assessment Activity 1.

One-Page software company built a product which aggregated all the contact details of a person, including his/her homepage address, Skype details, and Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn profiles. This product was aimed at replacing physical business cards. However, you recently joined the company as a senior HR Manager and responsible for motivating and developing the team to ensure consistent delivery of standards and maintain the organisational culture. As part of your role, you need to maintain relationships with your team and the colleagues of other departments, to ensure that the delivery of the organisational performance is in line with HR policies and procedures.

Reflect on own personality and perceptions to understand how individual differenceinforms and influences management approaches.
Apply content and process theories of motivation to create and maintain effective workforce.
Challenge own perspective and individual traits and attributes to influence and improvemanagerial relationships within your team.
Analyse the extent to which the practical implementation of content and process theories of motivation can improveand maintain employee motivation.
Adapt personal perspectives, traits, and attributes to facilitate changes that affect and enhance employee motivation and create a productive workforce.

Assignment activity and guidance for formal Report

As a senior HR manager of One-Page software company or select a company of your choice as a senior HR manager, to assess and challenge your own personality traits and attributes in terms of having positive and negative effect on management approaches and performance of the company. In addition, as a senior HR manager reflect on the value and importance of your personality and perception for effective managerial relationships.

Further, you can apply at least one content and process motivational theories for enhancing and maintaining effective workforce using examples. In addition, you can critically assess the extent to which employee motivation can be enhanced and maintained by demonstrating practical application of content and process theories of motivation.

Submission Format for Assessment Activity 2 – Reflective Report

This will be in the form of a Group Debate. For this activity, the class will be divided into groups, and where each group will work together to complete this task for the debate. After the debate, each student will write individual reflective report on their experience and submit. Word count in 1500 words +/- 10%, although you will not be penalised for goingunder or exceeding the total word limit.

The student is allowed to use a reflective model for the reflective report. Use at least 1.5 spacing and Times New Roman/ Arial font size. Use headings and subheadings as appropriate. Support the work with research, in-text citations and use the Harvard Referencing Style for in-text citations and reference lists.

Your performance at One-Page software company has been noticed by the senior executives, therefore, your line manager has recommended you and other staff in your department to attend a local Employer Advisory Forum that is presenting a discussion topic on organisational culture and motivation

Assignment activity and guidance for section 2.

The groups must work together on this section for the debate. Each student must work on the task equally by covering the learning outcomes 3 & 4. Decision needs to be made based on communication and agreement within the group.

The class debate is for 30 minutes on learning outcomes 3 & 4.

Group Debate:
In the group debate, the groups will focus on the creation and management of effective teamworking of One-Page software company or a selected organization. It is also important for the group to explore the relevance of group behaviour and team theory in the management of effective team working.
Key Issues for Debate are:

• Participate in a group team activity for a given business situation to demonstrateeffective team skills.

Examine how power, politics and culture can be used to influence employee behaviour and accomplish organisational goals drawing attention to their merits and demerits and provide justified recommendation on how power, politics and culture can influence and direct employee behaviour to achieve the company goals.
After the group debate reflect on personal contribution to group behaviour and dynamics in the creation and management of effective teamworking.
Revise your own personal contribution and skills within the effective group debate activity and analyse your own behaviour and that of the team in building an effective team culture, politics and power in order to meet your goals in this activity.
