The “values” scores are only an indicator of your preferences and should not be seen as absolute. They indicate the importance of the values relative to each other- you do not compare these to other people as their results reflect their comparative score across the values.
The Theoretical Value emphasises the discovery of truth. This means that factual informational and the discovery of the how and why is extremely important. Emphasis is on understanding the mechanistic, theoretical or practical explanation as to why things are they that they are.
The Economic Value emphasises the practical and in particular the material. The emphasis is on what is useful so that his can aid in material or wealth creation.
The Aesthetic Value emphasises form, beauty and harmony whether is nature or as a construct in art, music, literature etc. These should be appreciates for their own sake and not for other purposes such as wealth or influence.
The Social Value emphasises relationships and a concern for others.
The Political Value emphasis the desire to acquire power and influence others. It is not restricted to the political field but can apply to any situation where dominance and control is pursued.
The Spiritual Value may involve religious belief but is also linked to the pursuit of greater self-awareness and the objective of connecting with a higher existence or sense of unity
