Jonas and his classmates are having lunch at Koufu after attending their US2 lesson. As they are eating, they share their views on the various topics covered in class:

Adam: “We live in times of peace. Countries rarely go to war with one another. We should just do away with National Service since it is not necessary.”

Bernice: “I am not sure why Psychological Defence is part of the Total Defence Framework. I thought having a strong army and economy is sufficient for us to survive?”

Cory: “The Government has been ensuring that Singapore has a steady supply of food and energy. Therefore, we as individuals don’t have any part to play.”
