Requirement Analysis of Clothing (T-shirts) Shopping Sites

A. Problem Definition

The problem to be addressed is the lack of an efficient and user-friendly online shopping platform for T-shirts brands. Currently, the existing online shopping sites have inefficient shopping experiences, with buyers having to search through multiple websites or stores to find the desired T-shirts. Furthermore, the existing online stores lack the customization and personalization options that shoppers desire. As a result, shoppers are frustrated by the lack of options and the lack of convenience when shopping for T-shirts.

B. Issues

The key issues associated with the current online shopping sites for T-shirts are:

1. Lack of efficient and user-friendly shopping experience.

2. Limited customization and personalization options.

3. Inconvenience due to the lack of options.

4. Lack of visibility and awareness of the various T-shirt brands (Han, et al, 2017, p3(2)).

C. Objectives

The objectives of our proposed system are to:

1. Create an efficient and user-friendly online shopping platform for T-shirts brands.

2. Provide shoppers with a wide range of customization and personalization options.

3. Make the shopping experience more convenient by reducing the need to search through multiple websites or stores.

4. Increase visibility and awareness of the various T-shirt brands.

D. Requirements

The following requirements must be met in order to create an efficient and user-friendly online shopping platform for T-shirts brands:

1. A secure and reliable web server to host the online store.

2. An efficient search engine to allow shoppers to quickly find the desired T-shirt.

3. An intuitive user interface to make the shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

4. Easy payment processing options to facilitate the purchase of T-shirts.

5. A range of customization and personalization options for shoppers to choose from (Niinimäki, et al, 2020, p5(2)).

6. A marketing platform to increase the visibility and awareness of the various T-shirt brands.

E. Constraints

The following constraints must be taken into consideration when designing the system:

1. Time constraints: The system must be developed and launched within a specific timeframe.

2. Budget constraints: The system must be developed within a specific budget.

3. Technology constraints: The system must be compatible with existing technology.

F. Description of the Proposed System

The proposed system is an online shopping platform for T-shirts brands. The system will provide shoppers with a comprehensive selection of T-shirts to choose from, including a range of customization and personalization options. The system will feature an efficient search engine to allow shoppers to quickly find the desired T-shirt, as well as an intuitive user interface to make the shopping experience easy and enjoyable. Furthermore, the system will feature easy payment processing options to facilitate the purchase of T-shirts, as well as a marketing platform to increase the visibility and awareness of the various T-shirt brands.

G. Logical Model Design

1. Data Flow Diagrams

The Data Flow Diagrams are used to illustrate the flow of data through the system. The diagrams provide a visual representation of the system and its components. The diagrams used in this system are the Context Diagram/Diagram 0, and Diagram 1 (optional).

Context Diagram: The context diagram shows how data flows in and out of the system. Data enters the system from external entities (i.e. shoppers, T-shirt brands, etc.) and is processed within the system. The processed data is then output to the external entities.

2. Descriptions of Outputs/Inputs/Performance/Security or Controls

Level-0 Data flow diagram

Diagram 1 (optional): This diagram shows the detailed flow of data within the system. The diagram illustrates the various processes that are involved in the search, selection, and purchase of a T-shirt. The diagram also shows how data is stored and retrieved from the system.

Outputs: Outputs: The outputs of the system are the T-shirts that are purchased by shoppers.

Inputs: The inputs of the system are the data that is entered by shoppers and T-shirt brands.

Security: The system must be secure and protect the data of shoppers and T-shirt brands from unauthorized access (Satzinger, et al, 2015, p4(3)).

H. Specific Requirements, if Any (Interface, Operational, Resource, Performance, etc.)

Interface Requirements: The system must feature an intuitive user interface to make the shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

Operational Requirements: The system must be easy to use and should provide shoppers with a comprehensive selection of T-shirts to choose from.

Resource Requirements: The system must have access to a secure and reliable web server to host the online store.
