You have been asked to prepare a health promotion artefact for the local council. Use this form to help persuade them that your artefact will meet local needs and lead to an improvement in the health of a group of local people. There is limited funding and only one campaign can be funded.

• Provide a brief description of what you would do: where and how would the campaign run? This must be realistic.
• What are the main messages? Focus on what behaviour you want to change and how this might be achieved. You must identify what model of Health Promotion you have used and show how it has been used with examples.
• Which communication tools would you use and why? (E.g. website, leaflets, events).

• Consider if the theoretical base you used to design the artefact was appropriate or not.
• Explain the theoretical base for the campaign.

Section 5: Reflection
• Drawing on your reading consider the strengths and limitations of the campaign to meet your objectives.
• Identify an area for improvement of the campaign.
