Briefly define and describe the general characteristics for your chosen consumer group. Identify one (1) common health focus/concern/need for chosen consumer group that your selected PHC nurse would support within the community health setting. You will need to include relevant Australian National and State statistics and/or demographic data in your discussion and you need to comment on the importance of supporting this consumer group with the identified health focus/concern/need.

Identify a health promotion/education/information resource your selected PHC nurse would use to support the health literacy for your chosen consumer group in relation to the identified health focus/concern/need. Your discussion will include an explanation of the nurse’s role in consumer education and health literacy.
150 words approx. / 5 marks
Critique the selected health promotion/education/information resource using the template provided. Your critique will include feedback from other health staff, nurses and/or consumer group in a relevant clinical setting. Include your completed template in your written assessment 1 submission. Bullet points are acceptable in the completion of this critique template.
