Suggested Structure:
1. Introduction (10%)- • Define Early Childhood Intervention. Discuss the impact of Early Childhood Intervention on the child, family and early childhood community. (200 words) • Demonstrate understanding of ONE disability by describing the conditions and how the disability affects the child’s quality of life. (400 words)
2. Teaching strategies (20%)- Justify the teaching strategies below in relation to the disability:- • Two Physical environment strategies (200 words) • Two Social environment strategies (200 words) • Two Cognitive continuum strategies (200 words) • Two Strategies for literacy (200 words) • Two Strategies for numeracy (200 words)
3. Integration of theory to inform practice (15%)-Identify theory that informs the practice above. Concludes with insight. • Demonstrate understanding of how theory informs practice for intervention specific to the disability.
