Upon the very first sight, my impression of Clarke Quay’s picturesque sight was one of memorization. It had been a long time since I last visited the vicinity, and I was excited to try the food available at the bars that lined the quay. The aroma of finger food, grilled satay and seafood filled the air, making my mouth water with anticipation. Every few steps I took landed me at a new bar, and the scent of alcohol filled my lungs as I quickly settled on one of the more renowned bars to dine at.

The experience was nothing short of extraordinary; the flavour of the buffalo wings and chicken skewers was a delectable savoury flavour that exploded in my mouth, leaving me wanting more. Also, live music could be heard from street buskers where on-lookers were admiring and having a good time. I could feel the bass reverberating through my body and I couldn’t help but tap my foot to the beat. The music brought the place to life and created an electric, infectious atmosphere. Everyone was there to have a good time and the music was the glue that held it all together.
