Guidelines for Online Reading Test / Writing Test Your Computer Set-up: ■ Use a desktop or laptop computer with a stable Internet connection. Connectivity problems can result in missed uploads of your answers.
1. Use Google Chrome browser due the user security and audio technology in the browsers. Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari are currently not supported.
Online Reading Test: You will read passages and answer multiple choice questions i the same language. 2. There are two (2) reading passages, each with eight (8) multiple choice questions. You must answer questions to both passages.
3. After reading a passage completely, read the questions associated to that passage. You can read the passage and questions as often as you’d like.
4. Select the BEST answer, based on the passage, and click the answer to each question in the appropriate box in the answers located under the passage.
5. Your answers should be based on content written in the passage ONLY. Dot n reference any extra material or opinions.
6. Recommended test time = 30 minutes to 1 hour
Online Writing Test: You will type your answers to the questions all in the same language. 1. There are five (5) questions on the Writing test. You will type the answers to for (4) of those questions.
2. You must answer questions 1, 2, and 3. Then answer either question 4a or question 4b.
3. Directions for the length of answers are within each question. You may read the questions and edit your written answers as many times as you’d like.
4. Recommended test time = 1 hour
