Task Description:
Art portfolio:
Assignment 1 requires the making of an art portfolio of your artwork or other’s artwork that gives you
inspiration. The art portfolio aims to showcase the style or method or work.
In the art portfolio, you must cover at least three areas in Dance, Drama, Media Arts, Music and Visual
arts.
You need to demonstrate your understanding of the artwork in
• knowledge, skills, techniques, processes, materials and technologies used in the arts practices
• how the artworks communicate ideas and intentions
• how you explore, respond to, analyse and interpret the artworks.
You can use the table below from ACARA as a guide for the art portfolio.
Presentation:
Submission of the art portfolio can be in any of the following forms.
• Audio-visual demonstration
• PowerPoint presentation with audio-visual

Format your PowerPoint slides using Arial, Calibri or Times New Roman, and a font size
appropriate for the amount of text on each slide. Any citations must adhere to APA 7th
edition guidelines, with a full reference list (if relevant) shown on the final slide (no voice-over required
for the reference list slide). You will upload your presentation to the relevant assessment
portal in Learnline. You can either submit a PPTX file or a MP4 file through PowerPoint. There is no word
limit, but the presentations must not exceed 12 minutes.
For the Audio-visual demonstration, you can use any recording device to accomplish this task. The
recording needs to be done in a quiet place, which you can make yourself audible. If you are recording
outdoor, please make sure your voice can be heard. You need to submit a MP4 file to the assessment
portal in Learnline. There is no word limit, but the presentations must not exceed 12 minutes. If the size
of your mp4 file is too big, please use SharePoint to share with unit lecturer.
Microsoft provides good instructions on how to Save a presentation as a video.
