ASSESSMENT INSTRUCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES
PART A1: PREPARATION (I
NITIAL)
Refer to the same case study business (Worlducation) that you used in Assessment Task 2.
Refer to the Simulation Pack along with all related documents sent to you.
If it’s your own business or a business where you are working or are familiar wit
h that you used in
Assessment Task 2 & 3,
then continue to refer to the same business for this assessment task.
Read through the requirements of Section 3 of your Project Portfolio

PART B: PRESENT THE BRIEF OUTLINE (STAKEHOLDER MEETING – ROLE PLAY)

1. Meet with the relevant key stakeholders (at least one other person, such as your assessor or another
student).
2. Take notes so you can complete Section 3 of your Project Portfolio after the meeting.
3. The meeting should last for approximately 30 mins.
4. At the meeting:
i. Present your brief outline to key stakeholders (use the brief prepared in Section 2 of your Project
Portfolio and Assessment Task 3).
ii. Record feedback in the feedback register (developed prior to this meeting).
Notes and guide:
During the meeting, you will need to demonstrate effective communication skills including:
Identify and articulating ideas clearly and persuasively
Use a presenting style and vocabulary to suit the audience and situation
Seeking the views and opinions of others by active listening and questioning
You will be assessed on the above.

PART C: REVIEW DECISION

Complete Section 3 of your Project Portfolio as part of your evidence for this step.
When you complete Section 3, you need to:
Use the feedback from your meeting with stakeholders to refine your project brief
Use an appropriate format to seek approval to implement your proposed solution (e.g. draft an email,
complete an application form ready to be lodged etc.)
Perform a self-evaluation to identify opportunities for improvement (use the Self-evaluation template)

When writing your refined project brief, email and self-evaluation, you must demonstrate the following skills:
Communicates relationships between ideas and information, matching style of writing to purpose and
audience
You will be assessed on the above.

Make sure you have completed all sections of your Project Portfolio, answered all questions, provided
enough detail as indicated and proofread for spelling and grammar as necessary. Remember to submit all
necessary attachments as indicated.
