Glad to see a large number of A1 submissions – where we are heading?. We now divert our attention to Assessment 2 – how do we get there?
The starting point is to choose the scope of your analysis (internal processes within the transformation box or external links and relationships): “critically analyses one process or operation (multiple processes), or supply network) from your current or previous workplace, or an organisation you are familiar with” – discussed in Modules 3 and 4
In your analysis and recommendations please take into account sustainability pressures and challenges facing the process (operation or network).
Suggested Structure of the Report
Title (for example): Process Design <Topic 1> and Lean Synchronisation <Topic 2> analysis for training process <operation/rpcess/network> at AIB <organisation>)

Introduction
Purpose statement: (the purpose of this report is to analyze….<Topic 1> & ….. <Topic 2> for …..<operation/process/network) at…. <organization>)
Context (Summary of gaps identified, improvement path (repositioned objectives), new operational strategy, and overall new vision/direction required from Assessment 1: Operations Strategy Analysis)
Process/network Description & Characteristics (boundaries of the process that is inputs and outputs, who is the customer, how it adds value, and how it fits within the organization).

Tie all recommendations together and show how these are likely going to help achieve the new vision and bridge perspectives gaps, respond to market pressures to integrate more sustainable practices in its operations.
Reflection: Include a 500-word reflection at the end of your paper discussing lessons you learnt from completing this assessment. Include a discussion on how you would share this learning with your colleagues and ways you will apply relevant OM concepts and analysis tools in the workplace.
