I’m delighted to be able to tender my skills and talents for the graduate position being offered
by Mars/Masterfoods for a graduate engineer (AUS00030). I am currently completing a double
degree comprising of Computer Science (Honours) and Electronic Engineering, due to
conclude in November 2006.
Personally I have known Masterfoods and Mars as companies with exceptionally high product
standards, who have proven themselves as choice employers. In my discussions with Mr. David
Meadows, a past senior project engineer who worked with Mars (UK) I’m excited about the
range of automation and electronic control work you are doing and am keen to join and
contribute to your vast team of experts, particularly as an engineer for project work.
I have extensive experience in both electronic and software development and have consistently
demonstrated good communication, organisational and team work skills as evidenced by my
aptitude in project teams and laboratory work. Further I endeavour to always to display the
upmost integrity and professionalism in every area of life. Through a wide variety of work
engineering placements I have proven that I can manage my time well and quickly comprehend
new concepts. I am a very quick learner and enjoy working together in a team.
My previous employers have found me to be a diligent, honest and punctual worker. The
Faculty of Science Technology and Engineering at La Trobe University commended me on my
academic achievement listing me on their Dean’s Honours list for 2016, 2018 and 2019, which
is testament to my dedication to work and getting the job done to the highest standards.
