Designing a brochure is not as daunting as you might think.

Fortunately, you don’t need to start from scratch. There are many templates available. Figure 11.10 on page 282 shows a sample tri-fold brochure.

See the attachment for more tips. I’ve also attached a sample style sheet.

Graphics

Knowing what makes an effective graphic is essential for every writer.

I always include a pointer to the Periodic Table of Visual Literacy:

The Purdue OWL website also does a great job of providing tips on how to use visuals effectively.
