The second area TLC consulting would like to address is emotional labour. Which is also a major concern these days due to lot of people had stressed life due to work or some other issues they have so it is important to take it seriously because emotional labour is the process of managing your expressions and feeling to complete the emotional need of a job, moreover workers are required to control their emotions during they are in the service of a customer, colleague and superior. Which include the emotions whether felt or not and the overthrow of emotions that were not expressed but felt. This should be done within a good boundary that will allow the company to succeed. This firm requires emotional labour because it is involved in medical care and they probably interact a lot socially. For example, if an employee had a bad day at home, the worker still needs to appear happy for their shift. So, the customer did not get any bad vibe from an employee this requires a huge amount of emotional labour. This means we cannot only focus on physical labour when we consider a job, we also need to put light on the topic that it also requires a lot of emotional labour. It is an important but not noticeable topic for a long time, now people are putting more skill, money and energy into it. Although it is simply relational instead of task based and often the spills into your social life. Deep acting is an effortful process which mean producing genuine and natural emotion displays. Changes how you privately feel where a person works with his private emotional state and what is socially acceptable for a given situation. Lastly, Surface acting where a person changes his emotional appearance which is socially and ethically accepted in certain situations in other words just puts in a face. Both have the same objective but surface acting is believed to be more harmful to our mental health for example if a student is very troublesome and a teacher is acting all the same in front of a good and troublesome student he is just compressing his feelings which can have an adverse effect on our mental health. The little things that we miss everyday it may seem it is not a big deal, but it is not healthy for us to please others to micromanage our emotions and actions. The tolls of emotional labour can damage a lot then we imagine like into our personal lives and relationship, it can also affect our mental health and it also can decrease the productivity of KRS homecare. For example my first day at work I was acting all happy and laughing with my coworkers on their jokes even if I don’t want just to look good and fit into the inner circle, I was feeling all pressure which I should not on my first day of job. Emotional labour can drain the employee physically. we are not talking only about being negatives for emotional labour in KRS homecare, but we need to look both sides of the coin they probably work on the emotional labour the best way possible but if there is some loopholes we are here to fill the first step should be admitting that emotional labour is a truth.
