As a Senior Crisis Management Consultant, you will perform a key role in the NIKE
Technology Corporate Information Security group and support the Technical Recovery
Management (TRM) program. This role reports into the Technical Recovery Management
organization.
The successful candidate will:
• Work to promote and implement technical recovery practices across the organization
• Conduct risk and impact assessments to identify and mitigate disruptive threats/risks
• Work with IT and business representatives to define recovery requirements and
priorities
• Have the ability to translate business requirements into technical recovery plans and
solutions
• Conduct impact assessments to identify critical systems and business services
• Build relationships with clients and business partners to ensure completion of annual
TRM program requirements
• Participate in the design (of disruption scenarios) and execution of exercises to
validate recovery capabilities for critical systems and business services
• Participate in crisis management exercises to prepare teams for significant technology
events
• Work with technology departments to develop business recovery plans, conduct tests
and report on recovery readiness
• Participate in the management and execution of technical recovery projects
• Help to maintain and implement recovery planning products/tools across the
enterprise
• Assist in the development of effective recovery metrics and reports
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate and work cross-functionally with
stakeholders and team members
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years of experience working on technology
projects
• Strong technical background with the ability to engage with team members to design
strategies and build technical solutions
• Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve
results
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and
information, actively listen, and verbalize ideas effectively
• Experience participating on projects helping to design strategies, drive solutions, and
document results
• Experience conducting tests and exercises in a technical environment
• Ability to document technical terms, concepts and strategies into executable action
plans
