The work by Nike Ayo emphasises the distinctive qualities of zines that make them successful in promoting health education, such as their capacity to communicate complex information in an accessible and interesting way. In an efficient and empowering approach, educators and health professionals can reach young people by utilising zines to address a variety of health issues, from sexual health to mental health. Furthermore, zines can serve as a platform. offering a platform for underrepresented groups to express their experiences and viewpoints, as well as for marginalised voices and themes that aren’t frequently addressed in mainstream media. We can build a more inclusive and equitable society where all voices are heard and all health issues are addressed by utilising the power of zines. zines’ value as resources for mental health goes beyond the variety of their format and content.
