Introduc)on (briefly specify the aim and scope of your project; reference relevant
literature to define the scope and key terms.)
Methods (describe aim, participants, methods to collect and analyse data;
acknowledge limitations; cross-reference appendices.)
Aim:
Target Group:
The target participants of this study are focusing on the first-year international
student. The area of their studying is in an Information Technology. They will be
invited to participate the study via email and phone.
Participant 1:
Participant 2:
Methods Used: (Say, Do, Make) (Framework: I chose “The UX Honeycomb, 7
essential considerations) (Say: Interview Questions, Do: Usability testing, Make: Card
sorting)
Data Analysis:
Limitations:
1) The data collection is only gathered by two participants perspective.
2)
Findings (this is the most important part of your report. Start with a diagram that
gives an overview of key themes in your findings. Then describe each theme and
present evidence from interview quotes, pictures, observations, etc. to illustrate the
key experiences and needs of your participants.)
Design Specifica)ons (based on your findings, present and discuss 2 design
specifications that communicate your key findings in an accessible manner, e.g., a
journey map, a rich picture, persona, empathy map, scenario, picture scenario)
*There are 2 participants, pick one each or combine and design 2 specification*
I think Persona and Rich Picture may suit. I’m not sure.
Design Brief (conclude with a design brief that summarizes the key problems
identified from your research, together with objectives, target audience and scope for
the future design project.) + What is the problem you addressed? What new design
