Assessment Description
Business Problem: Artificial Intelligence and fashion at BIG W
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics has been used to help a number of stakeholders in the
fashion industry. For example, designers have used AI to create clothing designs, types of fabrics
and the patterns on those fabrics. AI is being used in the fashion supply chain and analytics for
predicting demand, customization and improved customer service. AI can also work from photos
and make sure an item fits the customer even when buying items online.
Your project team (business lead, fashion designer with marketing analytics experience, risk
analytics officer and the AI specialist have been asked to work together on a project which will use
analytics techniques to create new clothing designs to be sold at BIG W. There are some concerns
though. Some fashion designers think AI will create the same sort of items rather than something
as original as the human mind could create. Others think that the project is risky because BIG W
shoppers want ordinary (every day) clothing rather than anything else. Given these concerns, your
team may need to perform preliminary analytics in order to work out what customers expect from
BIG W.

concerns in Microsoft word and submit to Turnitin on MyKBS by the end of the time
It does not need to be longer than 400-500 words

You will ACT THIS OUT in an 8 to 10-minute interaction
Please be as dramatic and realistic in your roles as possible, and try your best to convey the
